Description Turin is best known for being an important industrial centre, famous for its Fiat factories; it is the capital of the automobile.
But it is also a charming town with lovely architecture and many museums. Its architecture is characterized by a Piedmontese baroque (not painted). The city has nearly 24 kilometers of streets in arcades desired by King Victor Emmanuel II who wanted to ride horses without getting wet on rainy days.
