Description Just 90 minutes from Geneva, spend a day in Chamonix Mont Blanc, at the foot of Mont Blanc. The first Winter Olympics were held in Chamonix in 1924.
The village is full of charm, crossed by the Arve, you will find shops, mountain architecture and Savoyard gastronomy.
An incredible view of Mont Blanc awaits you.

In the afternoon, a wonderful journey will take you to the site of the Mer de Glace: the mythical ice giant, the most famous in Europe. The way, on the mountainside, climbs tunnels cut in the rock and viaducts. Once there, discover the famous glacier below, a true witness to the climate change of our time.
If you feel it, you can take the gondola down and walk 550 steps to visit the interior of the glacier.
